About Us

Dr. Mark Svore graduated from the University of Washington dental school in 1975, and held externships in both prosthodontics and oral surgery.  He spent the next five years working with one of the best restorative dentists in town before starting his own practice.  Since then Dr. Svore has actively participated in many dental pursuits and study clubs including:

  • Associate professor of pediatric dentistry at UW Dental School
  • Volunteering his services for a low-income dental clinic
  • Participates in Smile Week
  • Participating in an endodontics (root canal) study club, mentored by the top endodontist in Seattle
  • Former Board member and secretary of the Seattle King County Dental Society
  • Member of the Summit Dental Study Club
  • Attends the UW Dental School monthly continuing education programs

In addition to dentistry, Dr. Svore is active in many community programs such as:

  • Director of Children’s Dental Health month
  • 24 years as a member of the Rotary Club
  • Supporter of the Special Olympics
  • Active in Alzheimer’s Foundation

Married for 34 years to an artist, he has two daughters.  When he is not in the office, Dr. Svore loves outdoor sports including hiking, skiing and fly fishing, and participates in environmental programs to help keep Washington green.

Our Staff

Our staff works smoothly together to ensure a comfortable and hassle-free appointment for you.

Betsey, our office manager, is very friendly and knows all of the patients by name.  Her particular expertise is in presenting and clarifying various treatments, costs and options, and informing patients of treatment outcomes.

Brittany, our receptionist, is the newest addition to our staff.  She is a warm and welcoming personality dedicated making your appointment a very positive experience.

Both Diane and Jerolyn, our hygienists, have been with the practice for fifteen years.  They are gentle, thorough and knowledgeable about all aspects of dentistry, so please feel free to ask them any questions you might have about your treatment.
